Tim
Leader in Running Fitness (LiRF) since 2020. I love coaching as a way of giving back to the running community (us coaches are not paid by the way 😅). Coaching feels somewhat natural to me because I often lead large groups in my work as a full-time teacher. Coaching can be like herding cats when trying out new session ideas, but it makes for an enjoyable challenge!
Anna
Leader in Running Fitness (LiRF). I took up running in my 30s, after having children, with the encouragement of a lovely friend and neighbour. It is a great way to get outside in the fresh air and fire up some endorphins! I challenged myself to increase my distance from 10k to 10miles, eventually leading up to my first half marathon, when I saw a Facebook notice advertising a new run club. I decided to turn up and find out what it was all about… and haven’t stopped turning up since. I love the running community around the club and have continued to challenge myself to ever increasing distances.
I jumped at the opportunity to get my LiRF qualification so I can help give back and pass on the encouragement and training that has got me this far.
